We just started a new moon cycle under a turbo-transformative eclipse (the Taurus partial solar eclipse on April 30th), and the pace of change will start to pick up in the weeks ahead. As I mentioned in our recent Eclipse workshop, we are living in extremely delicate times and need to stay centered to be able to deal with whatever will be next on the existential menu.
Although not all individuals will be experiencing this period as intensely as others (this depends on your personal horoscope), we will all unavoidably be subject to massive social, political, financial, and ecological changes coming in the next couple of years.
Names in the news…
Famous people like actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, US President Joe Biden along with the most important members of the British royal family (Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, Prince William, and Prince Harry ALL have key planets in Taurus and/or Scorpio!) will be personally impacted by these energies as their natal horoscopes are all directly and powerfully affected by the current eclipse cycle. Sudden changes, disruptions, and unexpected life-changing events are inevitable.
Because Uranus was conjunct the Partial Solar Eclipse of April 30th, it is helpful to (re-)read my May 2018 blog describing how Uranus in Taurus will disrupt life as we know it between 2018 and 2025.

“Queen Elizabeth II is born in the first degree of Taurus, so she will be feeling this week’s energy quite personally. That there is also a Royal Wedding around this time suggests that nobody thought to ask an astrologer whether getting married with an imprint of such turbulent energy is a good idea for the Monarchy. Prince Harry and his partner Megan Markle are likely to be quite an impetus for transformation, with a very unconventional relationship that will likely challenge Royal protocol for years.”
According to experienced (and independent) observers, the current war in Ukraine looks set to expand into a much wider conflict, something which is borne out by the astrology which indicates that we are in for many difficult and chaotic years between now and 2025. The conflict is likely to continue throughout the decade, and feature unexpected shifts in the balance of power.
Hidden in plain sight
A lot of what is happening around the world is hidden from the average person’s view. Beware of the media propaganda that happens on ALL sides of a conflict, without exception. There are no Good Guys fighting wars, they only exist in war stories. As highly revered retired US diplomat Chas Freeman said, “The United States will fight this (proxy) war with Russia to the last Ukrainian”. Where there is big money to be made, question all narratives.
As mid-April’s rare Jupiter-Neptune conjunction promised, inflation is in the news around the world. This is an excellent opportunity to streamline your life and consume less in every domain. You will be amazed how much less stress there is in a simple life! It’s a good time to reduce or give up meat consumption as well, with considerable health benefits for all living beings.
Don’t give in to fear!
I feel it is much more helpful to anticipate challenges and build resilience throughout life rather than living with the childish notion that whatever we don’t talk about won’t happen.
