🌍 Today the Earth is officially celebrated, because we live in a time in which we have forgotten to honour our sacred home most other days.
🌏 If we forget that our bodies are an extension of the Earth itself, indivisible, and kept alive by the oxygen in the Earth’s unique atmosphere, it’s easier to abuse the Earth, water, and air and believe there are no consequences.
🌎 We think we are separate from the Earth so we use any toxic product we want on the land, in the air and in the water. Nails are painted and hair is coloured and skin is sprayed with toxins, and still we expect to be healthy in our body and surroundings.
🙏🏻 This Earth Day can be extended to every day by remembering and honouring our dependence on our natural Mother, our only Home, and our integral family of Earthlings and all other expressions of life that combine to make this next breath possible.
