Finding the Heart of the Chart

A 10-part astrological journey for those with a basis in astrology wanting to improve their chart interpretation skills while growing in personal and spiritual understanding as well. Course level is advanced beginner to intermediate.

This course aims to develop your technical confidence and intuition for better natal chart interpretation, and is especially designed with new or aspiring counseling astrologers in mind.

It is also open to anyone who wants to better understand their own natal horoscope and enjoys learning astrology as a hobby!

Although the main emphasis will be on understanding natal charts, we will also examine the influence of transits depending on the nature of the chart, as well as how to share interpretations with the native with a view to empowering them to embrace life.

The course outline is tentative and many of the topics will necessarily overlap from week to week. The course will be centered on practical chart examples with interactive participation from the group, and will take some of its direction from student questions.

Outside of course session time, students will have the option of being paired off with different course members each week to practice reading each other’s charts. You will receive each other’s immediate feedback for the benefit of gaining experience and confidence with both charts and clients.

Lifelong Irish Mystic and Healer Roisin Eve Campbell will join us for the 8th session to share how to clear blocks to your success and develop your intuition as an astrologer.

All sessions are online via Zoom, and will be recorded for later viewing. The recordings and course materials will be available for one year from the course start date.

During the course we will cover the following topics and more, as well as what might emerge through student questions:

• Ways of approaching astrology, the natal chart… and the native!
• The importance of planetary rulers for assessing the qualities and “promise” of a natal chart 
• Understanding planetary dignities and day charts v. night charts
• How working with derived houses deepens the understanding of the chart
•  Interpreting the broader themes of the Ascendant/Descendant axis, the Medium Coeli/Imum Coeli axis, and the Nodal axis
• The strength of the sign by sign and house
• How to put it all together in a synthesis for readings with individuals
• Lots of time for questions, guidance, and working with numerous sample charts

Terms and Conditions – Course fees cover the ten 2.5-hour sessions plus any handouts and other supporting materials, as well as participation in the supervised group chat platform where charts, questions and other course-related information will be shared among the group members during the course. There is a non-refundable registration fee of €100 in the event of cancellation before the course begins on 12 January 2025. Cancellations within the first 14 days will receive a refund of 80 percent of the total course value minus the non-refundable registration fee of €100.

Course Time & Dates – Our group will meet via Zoom for ten interactive 2.5-hour sessions beginning on Sunday the 12th of January 2025 from 1pm UT /2pm CET / 8am ECT / 5am PST / 10pm AUST

N.B. There will be no sessions on February 2nd and March 2nd, allowing participants some time to integrate the lessons completed so far or catch up on any missed sessions.

Important – this is not an introductory astrology course and participants should already have an understanding of all basic concepts such as the meanings of houses, signs, and aspects.
